I’m using this site to collect questions and answers related to making the career transition from the military to the tech industry.
When I got out of the Army in 2013, there were only so many places you could go to learn what to do. We typically don’t have the great network for tech jobs that other people do, when they graduate from elite colleges and go right into the workforce.
So I’ve spent a lot of time trying to mentor individual vets, and finally decided that it may be useful to ‘scale’ this out in some kind of way. I’ve created this site as a way to record some of the potential advice I may give. But more importantly, I’m going to collect insights from others, and hopefully create a worthwhile source of ideas and knowledge for veterans, service members, and their families in the future.
